The WindGuard Spherical Sensor Turret is a compact and rugged pan-tilt platform engineered for electro-optical surveillance and sensor integration in demanding outdoor environments. The defining feature of this system is its hemispherical protective structure, which significantly reduces wind load compared with conventional open-frame pan-tilt mechanisms. This aerodynamic design improves operational stability on exposed platforms such as coastal installations, vehicle rooftops, and unmanned monitoring stations. The turret supports continuous 360° horizontal rotation and wide-range elevation movement, enabling efficient target search, tracking, and monitoring. Multiple sensor apertures allow the integration of visible cameras, thermal imagers, and laser sensors, providing reliable day-night situational awareness.

Overview of Product


The WindGuard turret adopts a sealed spherical housing that encloses the pan-tilt mechanism and payload mounting structure. This design protects internal components from wind, rain, dust, and salt-fog exposure while improving aerodynamic performance.

The pan axis enables continuous rotation for full panoramic coverage, while the tilt axis allows wide vertical movement for tracking targets at different elevations.

The turret architecture is optimized for multi-sensor integration, enabling combinations such as:
