The cooled medium-wave infrared (MWIR) surveillance camera is designed for high-reliability operation in complex outdoor environments. It employs a 1280 × 1024 Mercury Cadmium Telluride cooled infrared detector to deliver fine thermal imaging unaffected by lighting conditions, making it ideal for continuous all-weather monitoring and long-range detection tasks.

Complementing the thermal channel, the system integrates a 4-megapixel visible-light camera with a 1/1.8″ progressive scan CMOS sensor, offering resolutions up to 2688 × 1520. High-power optical zoom, 3D digital noise reduction, and optical fog-penetration technology ensure sharp, transparent images even in haze or low-contrast scenes.

Overview of Product


The cooled MWIR EO/IR surveillance system provides long-range electro-optical and infrared sensing for persistent Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The system incorporates a 1280 × 1024 Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) cooled medium-wave infrared detector and a high-resolution visible imaging channel, enabling reliable target detection, tracking, and identification across day, night, and degraded visual environments (DVE).


The sensor suite supports continuous 24/7 operation under adverse atmospheric conditions, including haze, smoke, fog, and high-humidity maritime environments. Integrated onboard processing enables automated area monitoring, intrusion detection, and target cueing. The system is mounted on a precision variable-speed gimbal, providing accurate pointing and stable tracking. Designed for field deployment, the system features low power consumption, a compact ruggedized housing, IP66 environmental protection, and resistance to corrosion and acid rain. Open interfaces and modular architecture allow integration with command-and-control (C2) systems, radar sensors, and multi-sensor fusion platforms.
