The long-range dual-spectrum thermal imaging system integrates a long-wave infrared camera with an HD visible-light camera featuring an extended focal length, enabling wide-area, all-weather, day-and-night surveillance. The high precision pan tilt platform allows flexible configuration with different imaging modules. The system supports advanced intelligent functions, including regional intrusion detection, cross-border detection, multi-scenario patrol modes, and 3D frame-selection zoom and positioning, enabling fully automated and unattended operation. It is ideal for long-distance monitoring in ports, rivers, airports, oil and gas fields, forests, coal mines, granaries, ecological and environmental protection sites, as well as along highways and railways.

Overview


The system adopts an advanced uncooled thermal imaging sensor that delivers high resolution infrared images and remains fully effective under all-weather, day-and-night conditions. Its visible-light module uses a high-definition CMOS sensor that provides more detailed imaging. With a powerful optical zoom capability and enhanced 3D digital noise reduction, the system ensures smooth, finely textured visuals, while optical fog-penetration technology keeps the picture clear even in low-visibility environments.

Integrated intelligent analytics, including regional intrusion detection, boundary-crossing alerts, multi-scene cruise modes, and 3D frame-selection zoom/positioning—enable automated, precise, and efficient monitoring. An independent defogging and defrosting module guarantees stable visibility by eliminating lens fogging caused by outdoor temperature fluctuations.

Engineered with a low-power, high-reliability architecture, the system is paired with a heavy-duty high precision pan tilt platform that supports customized imaging configurations with high positioning accuracy. The compact industrial design, combined with an IP66-rated protective housing and corrosion-resistant exterior, ensures dependable long-term performance in harsh outdoor environments.

Uncooled Operation & Reliability

Adopting advanced uncooled microbolometer technology, the camera eliminates the need for cryogenic cooling systems. This reduces system complexity, lowers power consumption to <15W, and enhances long-term reliability. With fewer moving parts, it requires minimal maintenance (annual calibration recommended), making it ideal for continuous 24/7 operation in remote or hard-to-access locations.


8–14μm Long-Wave Detection Capability

Operating in the 8–14μm infrared spectrum, the camera provides superior imaging performance under atmospheric interference. It penetrates smoke, light fog, haze, and dust, maintaining clear situational awareness in low-visibility conditions. This long-wave band is particularly effective for detecting thermal signatures of humans, vehicles, and equipment, even in cluttered environments.


All-Weather & Day/Night Performance

LWIR imaging is independent of external light sources, enabling effective surveillance in complete darkness, bright sunlight, and all weather conditions (rain, snow, dust storms). The camera operates in temperature ranges from -40℃ to 70℃ and withstands humidity levels of 0%–95% (non-condensing). Its IP66-rated housing ensures protection against dust and water, supporting reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments.
